Man Who Went Viral For Driving On Suspended License Is Actually Innocent

Man Who Went Viral For Driving On Suspended License Was Actually A Victim Of A Clerical Error
Last week, a man went viral for driving on suspended license while on a Zoom meeting with a judge. Well it appears he is innocent and is actually a victim of a clerical error.
Reports reaching us is that the man whose name is Corey Harris, had his license suspended back in January 2010 over unpaid child support.
“They were supposed to have been lifted it 2 years ago,” Corey said after he was caught driving on a suspended license. He seems to be correct because in January 2022, a judge rescinded the suspension on his license per Saginaw county court records.

The man is claiming this is very embarrassing for him due to his ties to the church.
In the video that went viral earlier, a Michigan Judge, Cedric Simpson, was shocked as he asked Corey Harris if he was driving while attending a virtual court hearing for a suspended license via Zoom.
Harris then responded saying, “Actually, I’m pulling into my doctor’s office. So, just give me one second. I’m parking right now. The judge looked confused and told Corey’s legal team that his license was suspended.
Judge Cedric immediately revoked his bond. “I don’t even know why he would do that,” the bewildered Judge added. Harris eventually turned himself in that day and was bonded out two days later.
