Tyrone Police Department is searching for a man pretending to be one of their own. The brazen criminal is reportedly impersonated a law enforcement officer to gain access to rob people.

Authorities say the man walked into the Han Massage parlor located on North Highway 74 on June 29, identified himself as a law enforcement officer and pretended to inspect the business.

The imposter then requested identification from each of the employees to sell the act. However, he managed to pocket $460 from one of the employee’s wallets while checking their IDs, per WSB-TV.

According to authorities, he escaped in a white Dodge pickup truck after snatching money from an employee’s wallet.

“So…people letting someone in their house with a black vest on that doesn’t say no kind of police department, county, or even parish…?” another person wondered.

“As a grown man if you’re out here stealing you should just exit off of earth because it’s obvious you have nothing going for you life,” someone else added.
