Woman Claims Victoria Monét Is Her Half-Sister, Explains The Backstory

Victoria Monét had a wholesome and heartwarming Father’s Day celebration, as she spent the special day with her estranged dad, Anthony, for the first time. The singer took to X, formerly Twitter to share picture of the adorable moment.

“Spending our first Father’s Day together ever. A real blessing! The little girl in me is so happyyyyyy, healing,” Monét wrote in the caption.

However, almost two weeks after the singer’s post, a woman named Zhanae, allegedly one of his children, came forward with her own story about his absentee ways. She took to X claiming that she and Victoria have the same dad.

“I’m glad you got a chance to meet him finally. I’m 23 and haven’t seen him 20 years of my life…and he’s never bothered to reach out to me,” Zhanae wrote. “Wow ANTHONY DETAMOORE or however u spell it !!! So Victoria Monet is my half sister??”

She then took to TikTok to explain the backstory. According to the woman, her mother was the one who shared Monét’s post with her. Zhanae detailed how she was raised by her stepfather and hadn’t seen her biological father since she was a toddler.

“When I saw him [at age three], it was only for 20 minutes…Never heard from him on a birthday, never heard from him on a holiday, I never heard from him period,” she said.

The lady then began ranting about Anthony being a deadbeat father. “How are you even comfortable knowing you still have a kid that you never even bothered to meet?” she queried.

“I’m really happy that [Victoria] got the chance to meet him because I never did […] My only question for him is ‘what did I ever do for you to not want to be in my life?’” she added. Listen to her below:
