On the other hand, Adrian Gonzales, a former Uvalde police officer was indicted on 29 counts of child endangerment.

Gonzales allegedly failed to follow his active shooter training, while Adrian allegedly failed to respond properly to the shooting.
He is accused of ordering officers to evacuate the wing of the school where the shooting took place but failed to determine whether classroom doors were locked.
Arredondo also failed dot deliver the children to a designated emergency care provider, according to the indictment documents.
“It’s obvious what he did was wrong. It’s obvious that he could’ve saved a lot of lives, but sitting there and looking for keys on a keychain for a long time,” Jesé Rizo, the uncle of one of the victims said.
“It’s just unacceptable. I’m surprised that a lot of other officers weren’t charged. I’m disappointed in that but I am happy to see that there is finally judgment coming,” Rizo added.
It’s noteworthy that both officers have posted their $10,000 bond and have been released from custody.
