YSL Woody Says He Was ‘Pressured To Testify’ & That He ‘Lied’ On Young Thug To Save Himself

Today is the first day back after weeks of recess in the YSL Rico trial, and it did not disappoint. YSL Woody took the stand again today to testify and, dramatically, he retracted everything he once told police that even launched the RICO.

While on the stand, YSL Woody told the prosecution that every single detail he told them in 2015 about Young Thug and the alleged crimes he committed was all a lie.

Woody real name Kenneth Copeland, explained that he only told the police those “details” because they were persistent about catching Young Thug, and he wanted to do whatever he needed to get the police off his back.

“I don’t recall nothing that happened years ago. I just know that every time the police were after me and trying to get me, they kept bringing his name up, whatever y’all want me to say imma say it,” Woody said while on the stand. “

“That’s why they kept coming after me because they felt like they could make a case after him [Young Thug]. And y’all wrong because y’all know that I’m full of sh*t,” he continued ranting. “And yall keep trying to drag me to bring up bullsh*t that yall know that I’ve said. Why is y’all doing that? Leave me alone!”

The prosecutor then continued to question Woody about the details he provided to them in 2015. Although he insisted he didn’t recall, prosecutors kept catching his contradicting statements.

Back in 2015, Copeland was fully aware that he was snitching and the details he provided to police they were allegedly able to verify, making the statements Woody said at the time true. But now, he’s claiming it was all a lie.

As of right now, Copeland is still currently on the stand, which is being live-streamed. We will keep yall updated on how the trial will progress given Woody’’s testimony.
