LAPD Forced To Intervene After YG & Saweetie Have Heated Argument Over Cell Phone

YG and Saweetie went head first into their relationship immediately collaborating on music and even planning a tour together. Although the tour was canceled they seemed to have a great time together back in 2023.

Well, in a new development, Los Angeles police had to intervene after someone called the police out of concern for a heated argument the couple were having on Saturday afternoon.

According to TMZ, police immediately separated the rap couple, who apparently got into the spat over some cell phone drama. Police say there was no physical altercation, just a very loud argument that they didn’t want to escalate.

While it’s unclear which phone they were arguing about, the police said things calmed down before they left.

Fans have since been reacting to the argument report. “Regular relationship stuff. Nothing to see here,” a fan commented. “Saweetie gives me the vibe her mouth get really slick when she mad,” another person wrote. “I would hate to be a celebrity…the lack of privacy is out of this world,” someone else added.

Earlier this year, there were reports that the couple are ending things. The rappers had some behavior in the days following their breakup that fans found curious despite claims that it was all very amicable.

They later reconciled and in April, YG brought out his bae during his set with Tyga at Rolling Loud LA. The lovers didn’t just perform together, they had a sensual experience on stage that sent rumors of their rekindled romance into overdrive.

YG also shared a picture of the pair together that all but confirmed that they’re back together. In the picture, the couple are sitting in the backseat of a car with a caption that features a variety of love and heart-themed emojis.
