Prosecutors Demand Death Penalty For Woman Who Ordered Rottweiler To Attack 9-Year-Old Girl
The Florida woman who previously made headlines for ordering her dog to attack her boyfriend’s 9-year-old daughter Jamaria, is in the news again.
There’s been an update on the case and it appears prosecutors are looking to have her face the death penalty, per TNT.
The news outlet shared that state attorneys in Florida’s Fifth Judicial Circuit filed a motion stating they were seeking the death penalty due to the nature of the crime. The 35-year-old woman ordered 103-pound Rottweiler to attack her boyfriend’s 9-year-old daughter before fatally beating her.

“Medics found that the child had a significant number of abrasions, possible bite marks, and bruising covering her body, all in various stages of healing.”
According to autopsy reports, Jamaria died of blunt force to the head and body as well as an injury to her right foot. Home surveillance videos reportedly show Martin holding a leash instructing the dog to bite Jamaria as she laid on the floor.
Jamaria suffered other punishments including having to run on a treadmill, extended wall sits and standing for long periods of time with her hands raised in the air, resulting in being kicked or punched if the task was not complete correctly.
“Will never understand a grown woman being jealous of a child,” someone commented on the update. “Yes! The punishment fits the crime & even would be too good for her,” another netizen wrote.
“She knew what she was doing and she had abused the baby often! Subject her to the same treatment,” someone else added.
