Wayne Brady Recently Welcomed A New Baby One Year After Coming Out As Pansexual

Popular television host Wayne Brady, recently opened up about the newest addition to his family, his 6-month-old son that he welcomed with his ex-girlfriend.

Wayne revealed on the premiere episode of his new reality show, “Wayne Brady: The Family Remix”, how he found out about his beautiful, but unexpected, bundle of joy.

The comedian and actor confessed on his new show that he was completely shocked when he learned his ex, Tina, was pregnant. Wayne revealed that his initial reaction was disappointment, but he knew he had to take care of his responsibility no matter how much wasn’t on his “bingo card”.

“When I first found out … I was floored. A 51-year-old dad? I didn’t see it coming. So was I happy? No. Because I was in shock,” he said. “How do I co-parent with this person that I am not with and make this work?”

Brady and Tina weren’t together at the time of conception. His ex-wife, Mandi Taketa, claims the reality star and Tina were together during quarantine, but had broken up about a year ago. However, when one of Wayne’s family members passed away, Tina went to console Wayne and she surprisingly came back pregnant.

It’s quite understandable that Wayne reacted to the pregnancy that way due to the nature of their relationship. Regardless, everyone in the family, including the actor’s older kids, love their new sibling no matter what type of relationship they have with Tina.

“Tina does not live her life in complete honesty. The string of events is suspicious. I don’t enjoy her presence,” Brady’s daughter Maile said.

This is coming just one year after Wayne came out to the world as pansexual, or what he called it “bisexual with an open mind”. During an interview with People, he described it as one of the sweetest that’s happened in his life.

“Coming out was for me, so I didn’t expect any grand… It wasn’t a transformation, it isn’t like the end of… No, thank you. It’s not like ‘Beauty and the Beast’ where all of a sudden you’re whipped and changed. The change is internal and it’s a great change to feel,” he told the outlet.
