Trump’s Campaign Deletes ‘Freedom’ Video Following Beyoncé Threatening To Take Legal Action

It appears the former President, Donald Trump, got Beyonce’s ceast-and-desist message loud and clear because his camp has removed the video of him walking off a jet to Beyoncé’s “Freedom”.

Earlier today, it was reported that Beyonce has threatened to take legal action against Trump after his team included her song, “Freedom,” in a recent video on social media.

In the viral video, Trump is seen walking down off of an airplane as the track plays in the background. Its quite dramatic, considering Vice President Kamala Harris has been using it throughout her campaign. Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung posted the clip on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.

For context, ‘Freedom’ is the official campaign song of Kamala Harris’s campaign and it was personally approved by Beyonce. However, it seems Trumps attempt to poke at Kamala failed because Beyonce was not allowing herself to be used as a pawn in his games.

The 13 seconds clip has now been deleted following the threat to take legal action.

Folks online have since been reacting to the drama. “He took off that video faster than he took that maxi pad off his ear after he realized nobody gave af,” someone commented. “When trolling goes wrong,” another person wrote.

Kamala and her running mate, Tim Walz, used the song in a new promotional video narrated by Jeffrey Wright. “What kind of America do we want?” Wright asks in the ad.

“One where we’re divided, angry, depressed? C’mon! We’re Americans! Fascism? We conquered it. The Moon? Landed on it. The future? Building it. Freedom? Nobody loves it more.”
