Travis Scott Allegedly Unfollows SZA & Says She Belongs To The Streets
DJ Akademiks Claims Travis Scott Has Unfollowed SZA & Says She Belongs To The Streets

Controversial blogger, DJ Akademiks, is making some bold claims on Travis Scott and SZA. Without giving context, AK claims Travis and the TDE songstress have issues and that the former’s IG shade is for the latter.

Earlier on, Scott shared a screenshot of his lyric that says “She belong to the streets,” and Akademiks couldn’t help but link it with SZA, adding that he’s unfollowed her on Instagram.

“Travis Scott said SZA for the streets and unfollowed her,” the “Off The Record” host shared on X, formerly Twitter. Fans have since been reacting to the post, with many calling AK out for making assumptions about the situation.

While we can’t tell for sure if the “Rodeo” rapper was referring to SZA or not, what we know is Akademiks is team Drake and he’s been bullying anyone on Kendrick Lamar’s team out of loyalty to Drizzy. As you know, SZA and Lamar are on the same team.

“GOOD, any woman associated with that midget @kendricklamar needs to be blacklisted fr. We stand with Travis & OVO,” someone commented. “There’s no proof that it’s her bfr akademiks,” another person wrote.

Earlier this year, both Travis Scott and SZA alongside Future were slapped with a lawsuit over “Telekinesis” collaboration. At the time, Victory Boyd, a Roc Nation artist, filed suit against the trio, and the other credited songwriters on the track, as well as watchmakers Audemars Piguet, in federal court in New York on Wednesday (January 8).

According to HipHopDX, Victory Boyd claims that “Telekinesis” uses aspects of her song “Like The Way It Sounds” without permission. She claims that back in November 2019, she wrote “Like The Way It Sounds,” and then shared it with Kanye West.

Boyd said West, who is not named in the suit, played Boyd’s track for Scott, and that Scott, in turn, shared it with Future and SZA, and “Telekinesis” followed.
