Theater Ceiling Collapses On Woman Watching Final Destination Film
Final Destination plot twist seemingly played out in real life on a group of theater-goers watching the latest entry in the popular horror franchise.
Theater ceiling collapsed and almost killed an audience member during a screening of the new flick Final Destination: Bloodlines in La Plata, Argentina.
The victim identified as Fiamma Villaverde, 29, was celebrating her birthday and brought her 11-year-old daughter and a friend to the showing at the Cinema Ocho theater on Monday.
According to the Daily Mail, Villaverde told Infobae that she initially did not have plans to see the sixth installment of the series, where death typically follows those who try to avoid fatal accidents.

âIt was my birthday, we were walking and happened upon the theater,â she told the outlet. âSince the tickets were cheaper than the rest of the week, we said, âShall we?â We went in, bought some popcorn, and went into the theater.â
According to the 29-year-old, she was shocked towards the end of the moved by what she initially were sound effects. âThere was a really loud noise. At first, we thought it was part of the movie because we were so absorbed; but then a huge piece fell on me,â she recounted.
Villaverde was struck on the knee and was taken to a local hospital as a precaution. âIt didnât hit me in the head because I was just leaning a little over the armrest,â the mother said.
Villaverde recalled the theater managerâs attempt to sweep the incident under the rug after she asked for a refund. âHe asked, âHow do you want to fix this?ââ she said, explaining that it made her got angry and snapped back, âHow do I want to fix this? Iâm going to file a complaint,â she said.
âJust imagine if they hit my daughter in the head! Theyâre irresponsible!â she added. The woman is reportedly now undergoing treatment for a previous diagnosis for panic attacks and an anxiety disorder.
