Rich Homie Quan Is Reportedly Dead After Possible Opioid Overdose

There are unconfirmed reports circulating that Rich Homie Quan has passed away at the age of 34. According to words on the street, the rapper died from a possible opioid overdose.

The sad news was first reported by a popular Young Thug fan page ‘ThuggerDaily’ on X formerly Twitter. The tweet has since gone viral, garnering reactions from fans.

“Hearing Rich Homie Quan passed away today due to a possible OD…. Please don’t be true,” the page tweeted. Update: RHQ reportedly ingested counterfeit percocets laced with Fentanyl. The rapper’s official toxicology report has not yet been released.

Fellow celebrities are now reacting to the news, confirming the rapper’s passing. “JUST TALKED TO YOU BRA #tiPQUAN Never go forget yo smile n the way talked n of course yo music,” Boosie wrote on Twitter.

Lil Woody has also reacted, taking to his Instagram Story, he wrote: “I hate this happened I pray that God protect thug and them from this.”

Just couple days back, Rich Homie Quan addressed Lil Woody’s testimony during a hearing part of the ongoing YSL RICO Trial. During the interview, Quan called Lil Woody out by name for allegedly “exaggerating” and “embellishing” the truth.

Woody claimed he was responsible for shooting up a barbershop owned by the Atlanta rapper’s father. The incident, which took place several years ago, has resurfaced in the media spotlight due to the bold statements on the shooting in the courtroom.

Quan then responded saying that “Woody’s a liar,” even though he acknowledged the shooting did occur. He however downplayed the severity of the event and backed up his side of the story by providing evidence of such.

“The barbershop did get shot up. It wasn’t like what he said it was. The same day the barbershop got shot up, it was back up and running, so it couldn’t have been like what he said it was,” he said.
