Lil Scoom89 & Bloodhound Lil Jeff Shot Dead On 89th PL & Langley In Chicago

Fast rising Chicago rapper Lil Scoom89, has reportedly been fatally shot on 89th Place and Langley. The rapper’s mother confirmed his death in a statement on Facebook.

“Hi everyone I’m mama scoom, all the laughs and jokes I accept ‚because me and my baby had talks bout this,” she began on the platform.

“He wasn’t afraid but one thing for sure my baby called before he left saying he ain’t feel right niggas acting weird, 11 minutes later this happened everyone not your friend, everybody not happy for you. I love you son,” mama Scoom added.

Police officers are currently at the scene conducting an investigation and have asked public to please stay out of the area.

He was shot alongside his associate, Bloodhound Lil Jeff. Word on the streets is that one of these men was killed by the police after engaging them in a gun battle.

The rapper’s mom also created a GoFundMe page to help with funeral expenses. “Hi, this is the mother and friends of ‘LilScoom.’ We don’t have a date for the funeral yet, but we are preparing for a balloon release this Friday.”

Currently, no suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.
