Quavo & Offset Squash Their Beef After Rich Homie Quan’s Death

News of Rich Homie Quan’s passing came as a shock! The Atlanta rapper passed away yesterday at age 34, from a possible opioid overdose.

His death was confirmed via a family member and the Fulton County Medical Examiner, although no cause of death was immediately available, according to Rolling Stone.

Reacting to Quan’s passing, Quavo shared a throwback photo of Migos alongside Young Thug and Quan in the studio on his Instagram Story. “May God be with US never saw this being apart [sic] of our journey,” he wrote on the photo.

Quavo honored Rich Homie Quan with a dove emoji, he added a rocket emoji on late Takeoff’s head, acknowledged Young Thug, who is still in jail and on trial, with a broken-chain emoji, and Offset, the Migos member with whom Quavo has a complicated history, got a broken-heart emoji.

The post quickly went viral on social media, with fans urging the two to bury the hatchet and squash their differences as tomorrow is not promised. Not long after that, it appears the two listened to the fans requests and did the necessary.

Quavo then took back to his Instagram Stories to deliver the good news that he’s repaired things with his brother. He posted Quavo and Takeoff song ‘Nothing Changed’ on his Story, along with the text: “Good convo with my bro.”

The rapper even tagged Offset, making it obvious that the two men are now on the same page. Fans have since been reacting to the good news with positive comments. Notwithstanding, some complained that it took the passing of a close friend to bring Quavo and Offset together.

“They should have did this before Rich Homie died,” a fan commented. “Took rich homie Quan dying for them to realize the beef ain’t even worth it,” another person wrote. “We need y’all. We done already lost too much of our childhood,” someone else added.
