OTF rapper, Doodie Lo, was reportedly shot during a robbery in Atlanta on Tuesday. Akademiks broke the news on his popular page, AkademiksTV, revealing that the incident occurred at 2423 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive NW.

Reports reaching us it that Doodie Lo, a member of the Chicago-based hip hop group Only the Family (OTF), reportedly sustained a gunshot wound to the leg.

The police reportedly responded around 9:25 p.m. to a report of a shooting at 2423 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive NW, according to Atlanta police. Upon their arrival, they found a 33-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound to his left leg.

The man alleged to be rapper Doodie Lo was alert, conscious and breathing when transported to the hospital for treatment.

The news has spread across social media, garnering lots of reactions from fans. “Ayo, wtf, this like the 3rd otf person injured or killed in the last week,” someone commented on the report from My Mixtapez on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Literally the ghetto capital of the country…if you’re in Atlanta you should expect to be a victim of crime!” another person wrote. “ Damn so it’s safe to say OTF ain’t safe in Atlanta,” a concerned fan penned.

“Hope Doodie Lo is okay and gets the justice he deserves. Stay safe out there, man. Prayers up for a full recovery,” someone else added.

According to Fox5Atlanta, detectives with the department’s Aggravated Assault Unit are currently investigating what led to the shooting.
