Offset Named In Two Federal Tax Liens, Owing Over $1 Million In Back Taxes
Cardi B’s estranged husband Offset, is not only currently facing divorce issues, the Atlanta rapper reportedly has over $1.6 million of debt to settle.
As of April 23, Offset owed $1,575,266 in federal tax lien and on June 11, the 32-year-old was hit with a second lien of $32,963 from the state of California.
The rapper’s debt remains unpaid and he is the only one named, a court clerk disclosed to The Sun.
As we previously reported, Cardi B filed for divorce from her husband of 6 years citing irreconcilable differences with no chance of patching things up as the reason for their split.
The Bronx rapper is seeking primary custody and child support for their soon to be three children. She also wants their personal property they acquired during Thor marriage to be divided equally.
“They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else,” a source told Page Six. “This is something she wants to do.”
The insider added that the latest rumors Offset cheated were not the straw that broke the camel’s back for the ‘WAP’ crooner.
Amid the divorce filing, Cardi recently took to Instagram to officially announce her pregnancy, showing off her baby bump in new photos, revealing she’s expecting her third child with her soon to be ex-husband.
