Popular TikToker Mrs. Netta, has been receiving criticism over her recent Instagram live where she claimed that she’d rather be a white woman because Black women are not as smart.

Mrs. Netta is an internet sensation and comedian from Alabama who is known for her cooking videos and skits with her husband, Charles. They first rose to popularity in 2021.

In the controversial video that has since gone viral on social media, Mrs. Netta can be seen lamenting over the way Black women kept coming for her, revealing that she does not aspire to be a Black woman. “I ain’t tryna be no motherf-cking Black woman ’cause I can say some of the baddest things about some Black a-s women that I know,” she said.

“If that’s the case, I want to be a white woman because they more smarter…ya’ll act so d-mn ignorant and act like ya’ll don’t know how to get sh-t.”

According to the social media star, it’s only Black women who attack her online, the white women keep it respectful.

“Ain’t no white women on my page disrespecting me, cussing me out and all up in me and my husband business. Hell naw ’cause they know how to mind they d-mn business, but you b-tches don’t!”

However, her statement was met with heavy backlash from netizens. After getting dragged across social media, the Tik Tok star backtracked. “I didn’t mean it the way they took it. The way I said I said it, maam, is that I don’t like all Black women that don’t like me,” she told her followers.

The TikToker was challenged about her remarks on the livestream, agreeing that she did make the controversial statements several times, admitting that she “might have said it wrong” the first time.
