Metro Boomin Has 5 Shows Cancelled Due To Low Ticket Sales

Drake’s fans are having the last laugh. Metro Boomin and Future are set to hit the road this summer in support of their pair of albums. Unfortunately, shows are getting cancelled due to low ticket sales.

Back in April, Live Nation announced the “We Trust You” Tour on Tuesday and the arena trek is slated to kick off in Kansas City, Mo., at the T-Mobile Center on July 30.

The duo’s 27-date North American tour will be making stops in Detroit, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Boston, Philly, Houston, Toronto, Las Vegas, Seattle and more before wrapping up north of the border on Sept. 9 in Vancouver, B.C., at Rogers Arena.

However, 5 of these stops have been cancelled, including Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio, Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Los Angeles, and BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Drake’s ally DJ Akademiks, posted the update on X, formerly Twitter. He trolled Metro by shared a clip of the producer saying Drake’s diss track “Like That” off the album “We Don’t Trust You” changed his life.

Back in April, Touring Data revealed that the duo has sold 177,318 tickets across North America with 43.13% sold. This sent Drake’s fans into frenzy, trolling the duo for the low ticket sales.

On the other hand, Drizzy’s “It’s All a Blur Tour”  surpassed Kendrick Lamar’s Big Steppers Tour to become the highest-grossing rap tour ever. The tour also generated over $200 million in revenue.

The Canadian superstar performed a total of 72 shows across the United States and Canada with an attendance of over 830,000. Following the first run, he added J Cole as a co-headliner for a second leg titled It’s All a Blur Tour – Big as the What?
