Lil Woody Apologizes To Young Thug

Lil Woody has been in the news following his controversial testimony in court in the ongoing Young Thug’s YSL case. The free man has now taken time to issue an heartfelt apology for his mistakes.

During a recent interview, Woody real name Kenneth Copeland, was asked what he’d say if he could walk back into the courtroom and say one thing to Thug.

“I’m sorry,” he said after taking a deep breath. “What your sorry for?” the interviewer asked. “The pain, the suffering. Everything I caused on him and his family, society, the courts. I’m sorry for everything.” Copeland said.

“I wish I had the strength and the mindset I have now. I’ll never forgive myself,” he continued. “No matter what happened, I took him through a process I should have never took him through. Even though I know I’m not the cause of it, despite how anybody may feel.. it’s wrong.”

“If I knew that it would have did this, I would never be so evil as I was. It’s so much I can say but I ain’t gon put all that sh*t on this,” he added.

Back in August, Woody testified that he lied on Young Thug to save himself. While on the stand, Copeland told the prosecution that every single detail he told them in 2015 about Young Thug and the alleged crimes he committed was all a lie.

The 33-year-old said that he only told the police those “details” because they were persistent about catching Young Thug, and he wanted to do whatever he needed to get the police off his back.

“I don’t recall nothing that happened years ago. I just know that every time the police were after me and trying to get me, they kept bringing his name up, whatever y’all want me to say imma say it,” he said at the time.
