Lil Tjay Defends Tory Lanez While Taking A Swipe At Megan Thee Stallion

More celebrities are showing support for Tory Lanez amid his legal battle with Megan Thee Stallion. The Canadian rapper is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence.

Back in 2020, Tory was convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion and found guilty of assault with a firearm, discharge of a firearm with gross negligence, and having a concealed firearm in the vehicle.

Following the new evidence and claims about the rapper’s innocence, Lil Tjay is the latest celebrity to publicly show support for him. The New York rapper and singer recently took to his Instagram Story to defend Tory.

He shared a change.org petition link to free Tory and took a swipe at Meg in the process. “I know some of ya prolly passionately believe shawty tho that’s the scary part,” Tjay wrote.

“@torylanez I would’ve crashed out fr ngl,” he continued, with Drake and 21 Savage’s “Circo Loco” playing in the background. He made sure the song covered the part where Drake took shots at the Houston native.

“This b—h lie ’bout getting shots, but she still a stallion/ She don’t even get the joke/ But she still smiling,” Drake raps on the song.

Tjay’s Story was posted on Hollywood Unlocked’s Instagram page and has since been garnering reactions from netizens. “Saying this as a shooting victim himself is crazy,” someone commented.

“I’m glad she’s thriving and that justice was litigated and served,” another person wrote. “It’s scary that you believe him and recycled evidence that was already used in court to convict him in a court of law,” someone else added.
