Lil Durk Facing Life Or Death Penalty Over Suspicion Of Murder-For-Hire Plot

While Lil Durk has been open about his plans on getting clean and campaigning against violence and gang activities, it appears the authorities were closely watching him over his alleged crime involvement.

The 32-year-old has been arrested in connection with the killing of rapper Quando Rando’s cousin who was allegedly murdered in retaliation for the killing of rapper King Von.

Von was an associate of Durk’s On The Family (OTF) crew and the rapper was heavily dragged on social media for not ‘sliding for Von’.. although it appears he did and has now been arrested for it. The Chicago rapper’s arrest was carried out by U.S. Marshals between late Thursday and early Friday.

According to The New York Post, following Von’s death, Lil Durk is alleged to have offered money and lucrative music opportunities to anyone who would kill Quando Rondo.

In August 2022, a gunman opened fire on Quando Rondo, whose real name is Terrell Bowman, while he was at a gas station in West Hollywood with his sister and cousin, per the indictment. Rondo and his sister were uninjured but his cousin, 24-year-old Saviay’a Robinson, was shot multiple times and died.

Lil Durk, real name Durk Derrick Banks, was arrested alongside 5 other members of the OTF crew who are facing a murder-for-hire charge and the use of a deadly weapon in a murder which carries up to a life imprisonment and a death penalty.

Durkio is now the latest famous rapper to be facing criminal charges after Atlanta rapper Young Thug who is currently facing trial for RICO charges.

Back in August, the ‘All My Life’ crooner clarified he’s a Muslim and doesn’t gangbang. “Don’t label me nothing outside of A MAN A FATHER and A 1000% Muslim,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.
