Lil Baby Arrested In Las Vegas For Possession Of Illegal Weapon With No Permit 

Lil Baby, real name Dominique Jones, was arrested on Monday in Las Vegas after he got busted for possessing an illegal weapon.

The rapper was busted on Monday night for carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, a felony and hauled off to the Clark County Detention Center, where he was being held on $5,000 bail.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have yet to release details about the alleged crime, according to TMZ. You may check back for updates on the situation.

Back in June, an old footage surfaced from a traffic stop involving Lil Baby, for having tinted windows. In the footage from 2020, an officer is seen approaching the Atlanta rapper to inform him that the tint on his windows is too dark.

The “Drip Too Hard” hitmaker responded by telling the officer that he is a celebrity and the tint helps him have some privacy. “Man, I’m a celebrity. Man, nobody can’t see me through my tint,” he told the officer.

“Give me my ticket. Let me ride. I can’t have nobody seeing me right here. I’mma let my window up,” the rapper continued.

The policeman then fetched a ticket and gave it to the rapper, before explaining what percentage of tint was legal in Atlanta. “Y’all giving folks tickets knowing that the economy down,” the 29-year-old said.

Also in 2019, Lil Baby was arrested in Atlanta for failure to signal, eluding police and reckless driving. And I’m 2021, the rapper was arrested in Paris, France, after police caught him with weed inside a car.
