Kyren Lacy’s Mother Sings “I Will Always Love You” At His Funeral
LSU footballer, Kyren Lacy, has been laid to rest. Videos from the youngster’s home-going service have since been making rounds on social media. However, a clip that stands out is the one that shows Lacy’s mother emotional tribute to him.
In the clip, Kyren Lacy’s mother can be seen singing Whitney Houston’s hit song, “I Will Always Love You,” with all her heart.
Netizens have been reacting to the emotional video. “She sound amazing & strong lord give her strength to go on without her baby,” someone commented. “This song makes me cry but to know this is a mother who no longer has her child is even more sad,” another person wrote.

On the day of the incident, A call was reportedly made from a woman around 11:15 PM in Houston, reporting a situation involving a firearm.
The 24-year-old allegedly got into an argument with one of her family members, fired a gun into the ground, then left the area. The police later spotted his car and tried to pull him over but, things escalated to a chase once he didn’t stop.
Eventually, the car crashed and when authorities approached to take him into custody, they found him deceased with a gunshot wound.
