Kanye West Sends Ex Wife Kim Kardashian Cease & Desist Over North West Met Gala Appearance

Kanye West is fuming at his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, over their daughter, North West’s, Met Gala appearance. He’s now sent her a scathing cease-and-desist letter through his attorney.

Ye is claiming there are multiple violations of their custody agreement, including unauthorized use of their kids’ images and denying him access to his own children.

Kim Kardashian took her daughter North to the Met Gala last Monday in New York without the rapper’s permission, so according to the Kanye, she violated the terms of the couple’s 2022 divorce settlement.

According to the legal document, Kanye is angry about North’s Met Gala Appearance and claims that Kim exposed their daughter to “significant media attention” by bringing her to the Met Gala on May 5.

The Yeezy creator also alleges that North was left unattended in a vehicle during parts of the event, something he says put their daughter’s safety at risk.

While netizens were praising North’s red carpet moment, because she actually ate, Kanye is not feeling the glam. In the letter, he says Kim violated their custody agreement by publicly showcasing their daughter without his consent.

The 47-year-old has been very vocal in the past about not wanting his kids, especially North, on social platforms like TikTok. The cease and desist says Kim continues to “publish or authorize” content featuring their children, despite his explicit objections.

Kanye is also mad over what he calls a “denial of custodial access.” According to the letter, he’s had zero contact with Saint West in 2025, and that time with North, Chicago, and Psalm has been “unreasonably restricted.”

Ye demands that Kim immediately stop all actions that breach their custody terms or risk further legal action. During one of his recent rants, he said he wishes he had children with Paris Hilton instead of Kardashian.
