Jada Pinkett Smith was forced to make her Instagram account private after posting a cryptic message about women not needing to be chosen by men to be ‘worthy’ on her page couple days ago.

“A man can CHOOSE to belong to someone And if he does… he is considered noble. A woman is told she MUST belong to someone or … she is not worthy,” the actress’s post reads.

Jada who shares son Jaden, 26, and daughter Willow, 23, with estranged husband Will Smith, expanded on the message in her caption, writing, “Even in some of our great religious traditions the goddess is rendered powerless without her male counterpart. And in others, the spiritual influence of the feminine, of Mother … is not even recognized.”

She continued, “We mere mortal women are worthy simply because we exist! And those of us who have cultivated our Queendom within our inner kingdom and have a deep relationship with the Great Supreme … if we so CHOOSE to bond with someone from this space … we will erect monumental love and give birth to treasures.”

The 52-year-old ended her message with a note to her followers, urging them not to ‘bond in fear’  for they are ‘greatness.’ She’s however yet to comment on her decision to make her Instagram private.

Jada and Will Smith, who have been married for 26 years, made controversial headlines following the infamous Oscars slapping incident that happened couple years ago.

The actor was not only banned from the Oscars gala and other Academy events for 10 years but donations for the couple’s charity foundation also dropped significantly by 83% from 2021 to 2022.

The following year, Jada spoke fondly Will Smith, stating that she is “going to be by his side” after their earlier seven-year-long separation.
