According to XXL, Hotboii’s arrest stemmed from a larger investigation into gang-related activity in Orange County, Fl, dubbed Operation X-Force, with thirty-four others being apprehended and charged, including fellow rapper 9lokkNine.
The authorities added that the effort attempted to thwart the operation of rivals Army Gang and 438 Gang. At the time, he was charged with one count of racketeering and another for conspiracy to commit racketeering, adding that he was a member of the 438 gang and his bond was set at $750,000.
The ‘Blinded By Death’ rapper bonded out and remained free until June 2022, when an Orange County judge revoked his bond and ordered him back to jail. He took to his Instagram on June 30 to share a video of him forming a prayer circle with several others.
“Last day out #TurningMyselfInRN,” he wrote in the caption. Taking to his IG Story, the rapper also wrote: “FREE ME.”
According to TMZ, his bond was nullified in connection with a gun possession case in Miami. However, his attorney Bradford Cohen told the publication that the Miami case was dismissed and they hoped his bond would be reinstated. Well, the rapper remained in custody until recently.
