Gucci Mane made controversial headlines last month, following conspiracy theories regarding his record label, 1017 Global Music. The speculations was fueled by the death of his former signee, Enchanting.

Folks online began speculating that the Hip Hop icon’s label is cursed as most of the artists signed to the label are not in good positions, either dead or in prison.

Gucci’s wife, Keyshia Ka’oir, had to come to his defense at the time. Well, the rapper is now looking to start fresh, launching a brand new record label with the offer of $2 million for two artists to be signed to the label, a male and a female.

On Thursday (July 4), LaFlare and his wife Keyshia Ka’oir announced a new label, So Icy Millionaires. In the video posted on the rapper’s Instagram page, the couple is seen showing off the cash in stacks of $100K to entice any potential signees.

“I got a million plus I got some extras that I’m still counting up for the female artist. That’s what I’m willing to invest in my next superstar cuz I’m starting a whole new label, fresh; So Icy Millionaires,” he said. “So, who want to join my new label cuz I’m looking for my next male superstar.”

“I got a million plus some extras that I’m still counting up for the next female artist,” he said, turning to his wife. “F*ck y’all haters,” Keyshia said at the end of the video.

The offer has however led to a wave of humorous and cautious responses from fans and upcoming rappers, with many saying they’d instead prefer to live longer than to sign his record label. Comments on his Instagram post also shows people saying the same thing.
