Future Seemingly Misses Drake, Gets Emotional Performing ‘Wait For You’
Fans Think Future Misses Drake After An Emotional ‘Wait For You’ Performance

Fans were shocked over Future and Drake’s fall out earlier this year. The former bestie and collaborator went on to trade diss tracks, and fans are still finding it hard to process what went wrong.

It all started when Future and Metro Boomin’s joint album ‘We Don’t Trust You’ dropped, where Kendrick Lamar took shots at Drake and J. Cole.

Surprisingly, Future also dissed Drizzy on the title track, which kicks off the project. “Fake written all over you/Hate written all over you,” Pluto raps in the intro. But he really gets to it in the song’s second verse rapping:

“You a n***a number one fan, dog / Sneak dissin’, I don’t understand, dog / Pillow talkin’, actin’ like a fed, dog / I don’t need another fake friend, dog / Can’t be ’bout a ho, ’cause we sharin’, dog / In you feelings, n***a, why you playin’, dog?”

Fans are now theorizing that the Atlanta rapper misses Drizzy following his recent tour stop with Metro Boomin. This was after a video went viral showing him seemingly emotional while performing “Wait For You,” a track featuring Drake and Tems.

The video which can be seen below shows Future appearing to choke up while delivering his verses during the opening night of the ‘WE DON’T TRUST YOU’ Tour in Kansas City. Fans believe Pluto got teary, prompting a flurry of speculations.

Many are convinced Future’s visible emotions and voice cracks during the performance shows he’s longing for his once-close friendship with the Canadian superstar.

“Future crying on stage while performing ‘Wait For You’ has to mean something,” a netizen captioned the video. “You can hear the pain in his voice,” another fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
