Eminem Name Drops Megan Thee Stallion On New Song ‘Houdini’

Eminem is gearing up for the release of his 12th album ‘The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)’, which is set to drop this summer. In a new song released by the Detroit rapper ahead of the project, he took aim at Megan Thee Stallion.

On the song titled ‘Houdini’, which samples his own classic hit “Without Me,” Em referenced Megan’s 2020 shooting involving Tory Lanez, which left her with bullet fragments in her feet.

“If I was to ask for Megan Thee/ Stallion if she would collab with me/ Would I really have a shot at a feet?” Slim Shady raps over a cartoonish beat that also samples the Steve Miller Band’s ‘Abracadabra’.

The song has caused a uproar online with fans of the Houston native calling out Em for dissing Meg unprovoked. However, the ‘Flamin’ Hottie’ rapper is yet to respond to the shade.

On the same song, Eminem makes a joke about R. Kelly and the leaked s* x tape that allegedly showed him urinating on a minor.

“In the coupe, leaning back my seat/ Bumpin’ R. Kelly’s favorite group, the black guy pees,” the Detroit icon raps, showcasing his wordplay skills by referencing the Black Eyes Peas.

‘Houdini’ music video, directed by Rich Lee, is star studded, with cameos from famous faces including Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Royce Da 5’9″, The Alchemist, Jimmy Iovine, Pete Davidson and Shady Records signee Westside Boogie.

The controversial song serves as the lead single from Eminem’s highly anticipated 12th album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), which is expected to drop later this summer.
