Ella Mai Gives Birth, Welcomes First Child NBA Star With Jayson Tatum

Rumors swirled around last month that NBA star Jason Tatum and R&B singer Ella Mai welcomed their first child into the world.

It appears the rumors are true. Clip and first pics of the couple’s bundle of joy are now making rounds on social media.

Ella and the new baby are in Paris, and celebrated yesterday as Jason and Team USA won the gold medal in basketball. The family can be seen posing for pictures during the celebration.

Ella and her new bundle of joy both looked adorable. And Jason, looked handsome as usual. According to reports reaching us, the child is a baby boy. And the boy’s name is reportedly Jayson, just like his father.

“I love how quiet they are about all this.  So happy for Ella and Jayson,” a fan commented. “They really are private. I totally thought she still was pregnant,” another person wrote. 

Back in June, Ella’s pregnancy was confirmed after a video surfaced of her rocking baby bump while celebrating the Celtics victory.

The NBA star and the singer were first linked in 2020, but they are yet to publicly confirm their relationship. Regardless, the NBA star and Ella have been spotted together several times over the past four years.

The pair were both guests at Michael Rubin’s annual Fourth of July party in 2022. They also attended the wedding of Tatum’s teammate in 2023 and as well celebrated Mai’s 29th birthday together in New York.
