Drake and Future had a fallout earlier this year and it left fans digging through their lyrics and connecting the dots in a bid to understand the genesis of their beef.

However, it appears the feud didn’t start on “We Don’t Trust You,” there have been numerous shades and subliminal diss dated as far back as 2022.

Rumor has it that Pluto and the Canadian rapper are beefing over a girl, Princess Diana, an Instagram model. Apparently, Future’s verses on “We Don’t Trust You” was a response to Drake’s verse on “What Would Pluto Do” off “For All The Dogs” album which was released in 2023.

Shots have been fired back since 2022 when Drizzy and 21 Savage released their joint album “Her Loss.” According to fans, Drake was shading Future on his verse on “More M’s” off the album.

“What happened to that nigga claiming OVO? We traded him,” Aubrey raps, insinuating that he traded Future for 21 Savage. If you recall, Drizzy and the Atlanta rapper were the first to drop a joint album but the sequel never came.

For more context, fans dug out an old tweet of Future claiming OVO. The ‘Mask Off’ hitmaker can also be seen wearing OVO shirt and chain in resurfaced photos, confirming that the line was a diss to Future.

Drake continues on ‘More M’s’, “Fuck, let me kick it basic/ Niggas ain’t got love for the boy, so they fake it/ Crack a couple jokes to some bitches on some snake shit/ But if I send a verse to they ass, then they’ll take it/ Shoot a video, arm around me like we aces/ Or pop out at my shows, jump around with me on stages.”

“Probably why these hoes love to shower me with praises/ Might’ve fucked a rapper, girl, but you ain’t fucked Drake yet,” he added.

Ultimately, Future responded to this on “Type Shit” off his album with Metro, rapping, “Just a sad ho runnin’ through the crew type shit.”

In another line, Hendrix raps, “Bunch of rich niggas, hoes get confused type shit,” and in the same song he said: “She f*ck me, ran her mouth cause I’m a boss, type shit.”
