Dawn Richard Alleges Diddy Once Punched Cassie In The Stomach At A Dinner With Usher, Ne-Yo, And Other High Profile Guests
Diddy is back in the news after former Bad Boy artist, Dawn Richard, dropped a bombshell lawsuit against her former boss.
Dawn Richard of Danity Kane, the former group formed by Sean “Diddy” Combs, has accused Diddy of sexual assault and claims she witnessed Diddy being aggressive to both Kim Porter and Cassie.
In one of the instances where Dawn claims she witnessed the abuse, she says the disgraced rapper and business mogul did it in front of a crowd of celebrities.

Dawn revealed in the controversial lawsuit how her and her former group member, Kalenna Harper, were required to attend a dinner party hosted by Diddy where other high-profile celebrities, including Usher, Ne-yo, and then-CEO of Interscope Records Jimmy Iovine, were set to be in attendance.
According to Dawn, they all sat at the table, and at a point, Diddy and Cassie got into an argument. Puff then allegedly hissed at Cassie and “forcefully punched her in the stomach, causing her to double over in visible pain, crying.”
The dinner guests just continued to eat their food as normal and acted as if nothing happened despite the act of violence, per the lawsuit. Then, days later, Bad Boy Ent. and Interscope entered a lucrative deal, which prompted Dawn to admit that Diddy was virtually untouchable at the time.
“Watching Mr. Combs openly assault Ms. Ventura in front of Mr. lovine and various celebrities – and observing that other powerful music industry representatives were complicit in Mr. Combs’ behavior – amplified Ms. Richard’s fears that Mr. Combs could one day harm her and that his actions would be accepted and normalized by everyone surrounding him.”
