Chris Brown Allegedly Sang For Inmates In UK Jail, Leaving A Heartfelt Note To Inmate Called Dave
We previously reported that Chris Brown has been freed on bail in the amount of $6.7 million on Wednesday (May 21) by a court in London after being charged with inflicting an “unprovoked attack” in a nightclub in 2023.
The superstar singer was arrested last week and later charged with grievous bodily harm over an incident in which he allegedly attacked a music producer with a tequila bottle at the Tape nightclub in London’s Mayfair.
The “Under The Influence” hitmaker was initially denied bail during a London court hearing on Friday (May 16). The judge at that hearing remanded the singer into custody, with Brown at the time set to remain behind bars until his next hearing.

Following his release, unconfirmed reports are now circulating that Breezy sang for inmates while in the UK jail. In fact, the R&B star allegedly penned a heartfelt note to an inmate called Dave.
“To Dave, Thank you my brother I appreciate everything you’ve done for me while I’ve been benged up. Keep being a good person. God sees all and he sees your heart. You’ll be home soon my bro. Cheers,” Chris allegedly wrote in the note.
We have not been able to independently confirm the authenticity of this letter, and no reliable source has confirmed this either. So, take this with a grain of salt.
Brown has also reacted to his release. Taking to Instagram after Wednesday’s bail hearing, the singer wrote: “From the cage to the stage!”
Notwithstanding, his next court date is set for June 20 at Southwark Crown Court in London. However, that date is currently bookended by two shows: June 19 in Cardiff, U.K., and June 21 in London.
According to BBC, Judge Tony Baumgartner said Chris must surrender his passport if he is not traveling on tour.
