Aubrey O’Day Says She Won’t Testify In Diddy’s Trial

Aubrey O’Day Says She Won’t Be Taking The Stand In Diddy’s Trial
Aubrey O’Day has shut down rumors circulating that she’s planning to testify against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in his ongoing criminal trial. The former member of the girl group, Danity Kane, has confirmed she will not be taking the witness stand.
In the premiere episode of a new podcast focused on the high-profile case, the breakout star of MTV’s ‘Making the Band’ shared the news with hosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach.
For context, Diddy created and managed Danity Kane through his label Bad Boy Records, and O’Day has spoken out against the rapper and business mogul multiple times in the past. Despite this, she made it clear that she will not be directly participating in the trial proceedings.

“I will not be taking the stand,” the 41-year-old said, declining to elaborate further on her decision. Nevertheless, she hinted at the complexities surrounding her past with Diddy and the music industry as a whole.
She claims that she was contacted by Homeland Security and did have a meeting with them. “I posted on my Instagram that I was here in New York and enjoying myself because I wanted to make it clear to everyone that I am not here testifying,” she said.

O’Day posted a link to the episode on her Instagram Story, with a note saying: “I don’t need to take the stand.. I’ve been standing.” Her message is her way of saying she’s been speaking against Combs for a long time and doesn’t need to testify.
This is coming amid multiple reports that the singer and TV personality plans on testifying against her former boss.
Diddy is currently facing serious federal charges, including sex trafficking and obstruction. O’Day’s long-standing criticism of Combs is what made many assumed she will be testifying, and since several former associates and insiders have testified or are expected to.
