Aoki Lee Simmons Rejected By Modeling Agency For Being Too Skinny

For a while now, fans have been showing concern over Russel and Kimora’s daughter, Aoki Lee Simmons’ bizarre photos on social media, where she looks dangerously skinny.

The Harvard graduate has frequently been posting on social media that she feels “bullied” by people who call her out for looking too skinny. Aoki is also not happy because her modeling career isn’t quite going the way that she had hoped.

Back in April, she begged fans to stop commenting that she’s anorexic on her posts, because it’s getting her fired from modeling jobs. “Can you guys please stop saying I’m anorexic on the internet because I’ve been getting fired from modeling jobs, because people think I’m a bad influence and I’m just really not,” she said on live back then.

“People think that I have issue and they don’t want that on their brand. So, I genuinely have gotten fired because of these comments guys. Like could you just please not, like I would really appreciate it,” she continued.

“It’s like not funny, that’s why I was crying. And then the more it happened, the more stressed I got, the more weight I lost. It was a mess and I couldn’t get a job because of it. So it’s not funny. I got big fired.
So guys I don’t look like I’m dying, this gives a very strong,” the 21-year-old added.

Recently, she explained that she’s been encouraged by the modeling industry to diet heavily – so that she could get her “skinny” look. But now that she’s got it – fashion brands don’t want to hire her because she’s too skinny.

The modeling business is cold and cruel. And Aoki says that she’s now going to step away from the industry and focus on a career where she could use her brains instead.

“I was not skinny enough for years so i worked so hard to lose weight and then one client said I was too skinny,” she wrote on her IG story. “And that was it. It felt like the people who were supposed to have may back dumped me. I had no emotional or moral support professionalism in a foreign country my first season because I wasn’t a success.”

“And I know LOTS in fact MOST models go through so much more including my own mama. But it’s not for me,” she wrote in another post.

“I’m a personal person, I take things personally, I’m honest and open and take things hard when I feel I was kind and received genuine cruelty (I don’t just mean not booking a job cause that’s life!) but interpersonal cruelty. It was dark af,” Aoki added.
