BOG Vonnie Claims Producer Mykel Gave Her HIV

New Orleans Bounce artist, Bog Vonnie, is currently trending after making a shocking revelation in a recent emotional video posted online.

In a series of heartfelt posts and livestreams, Vonnie accused her former boyfriend, popular bounce producer Mykel, of knowingly hiding his HIV positive status from her.

According to Vonnie who’s known for her high-energy performances and fearless personality, this secret Mykel kept from her has now changed her life forever. Notwithstanding, the vibrant performer did not hold back.

“My life was robbed,” she told her followers through tears. “This man — who I trusted, who I loved — knew. He knew and he didn’t say a word. He’s a monster.”

The posts come after years of what she now says was silence rooted in shame, fear, and emotional trauma. But Vonnie made it clear that the silence ends now.

“I stayed quiet for too long because I didn’t want to deal with the judgment,” she said. “But now? I don’t care what anybody thinks. This is my truth.”

She revealed that she plans to release her medical records publicly to prove her diagnosis and timeline — and she says she is already working with a legal team to press criminal charges against Mykel. In many U.S. states, knowingly transmitting HIV without disclosing your status is a felony.

Fans have since flooded her comment section with love, encouragement, and anger toward the accused. Many praised Vonnie for her bravery in speaking out, especially within the tight-knit Bounce and LGBTQ+ communities in New Orleans, where stigma surrounding HIV still exists.

“People always see the lights and the energy, but they don’t see what these artists go through behind the scenes. Vonnie, we love you and we’re standing with you,” a fan wrote.
