Rondell Sheridan Opens GoFundMe After Being Hospitalized With Pancreatitis

Our prayers are currently with Rondell Sheridan, who is best known for playing Raven’s dad, “Victor Baxter” on the hit Disney show “That’s So Raven,” as he is currently seeking aid due to health issues.

The actor has opened a GoFundMe and is asking people for support following a serious health scare left him hospitalized and unable to work.

Sheridan recently took to Instagram where he shared a heartfelt video revealing that he got sick while traveling and was rushed to the hospital. Doctors at first thought it was a gastric issue, but after returning home he learned the real problem was pancreatitis.

“I was in the hospital for nine days. I thought I was on the road to recovery, but it turns out I was just under observation,” the 66-year-old shared.

According to Vibe, he said that there’s not much that can be done to treat his condition except to rest and wait for the inflammation to go down. This unfortunate situation also means he’s going to be out of work for a while.

“I didn’t realize I will be out of work for quite some time. I’m setting up this GoFundMe to help with some of my medical bills and just expenses. If you have anything that you could donate, I’d gladly appreciate it. Thank you so much,” he said.

He’s launched a GoFundMe and is asking fans and friends to help him cover his medical bills and expenses. You can make donations via this GoFundMe link. So far,Sheridan has raised $21K out of his $35K goal.

Last month, Sheridan reunited with his TV daughter on Tea Time w/ Raven-Symoné & Miranda, where they delved into his dating life, their relationship as former co-stars, life after the show, Orlando Brown, and much more.
