New York rapper Lil Tjay, has reportedly been named in Federal Indictment and is alleged to be part of the ’$laughtery Gang’. He was named alongside 20 other alleged members.

The ‘Calling My Phone’ hitmaker and other 20 alleged members are facing charges of attempted murder, robbery, and weapons possession.

There are currently no much information on the situation as the story is still developing. Lil Tjay, real name Tione Jayden Merritt, is also yet to react to this devastating news. Notwithstanding, the report has gone viral on social media, garnering lots of reactions from fans.

“It’s sad because he has so much potential. No guidance,” someone commented. “New York do not play that gang activity shit idk why yall keep trying Bobby, 69, casanova, Tjay,” another person wrote.

“Niggas be having so much money just to be doing the same dumb shit they was doing broke.. They don’t wanna leave the Street,” someone else added.

Back in April, Lil Tjay was arrested on his birthday at Miami-Opa Locka airport. The 23-year-old rapper was arrested on a warrant at the Florida airport at approximately 6:30 p.m. local time.

He was however released on a $500 bond.  Information regarding the details of the warrant was unclear at the time, although it is dated Sept. 8, 2021, and appears to be related to a missed court date.

Back then, Tjay reacted to reports of his arrest with a post on Instagram. “I AINT HEAR NUN THE BLOGS SAID CAUSE WHERE IM AT IT AINT NO SERVICE. 500 ON MY BDAY SHI** BOUT NUN I DESERVE IT,” he wrote alongside a series of photos showing him celebrating his birthday.
