Shannon Sharpe Will Not Face Any Consequences At ESPN For Having Sex On IG Live
Shannon Sharpe Will Not Be Disciplined By ESPN For Having Sex On IG Live

Couple days back, Shannon Sharpe made controversial headlines after he accidentally went live while having sex with a girl.

According to TMZ, the former professional football tight end will not face any repercussions from ESPN regarding his viral video.

TMZ Sports confirmed with sources at ESPN, that although the 56-year-old was not present for Thursdays broadcast of “First Take”, he will be back Monday. It’s also confirmed that Sharpe not being on the show the day following the live stream had nothing to do with the incident itself as he’s typically off on Thursdays and Fridays.

Initially, Sharpe claimed that he was hacked when it all went down but later admitted that it was him on the other end of the live stream. He blamed it on not being ‘tech savvy’.

“It was me being a healthy, active male,” the ‘Club Shay Shay’ host said in a recent episode of ‘Nightcap,’ a podcast he co-hosts with Chad Johnson, confirming it was him partaking in the act.

He also mentioned that he was “disappointed” in himself because he is a very private person and how this was very embarrassing for him.

“I’m embarrassed for a number of reasons… I’m very disappointed in myself, not for the act but to have your most intimate detail heard,” he added. “I threw my phone on the bed.”

“I’ve never been on IG Live. I’ve never turned (it) on. So I don’t know how it works. And so all of a sudden, my other phone is going off, and people are calling me that I’ve never talked to a day in my life on FaceTime, and I’m like, ‘why are y’all calling me?”
