A 26-year-old, Teaneck, New Jersey man by the name of Johnathan Hagley, has been arrested for the gruesome shooting and killing of his own twin sister, Naomi Hagley.

The fatal incident occurred in August 15 around 8:25 am, according to RLS Media. Teaneck authorities arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation after receiving a call about gun gunshots ringing out.

The authorities found Naomi suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a private residence. She was taken to a local hospital where she unfortunately died from being shot, according to the New York Post.

Following an investigation, Naomi’s twin brother became the lead suspect as a neighbor, Luz Javier, spotted him fleeing while getting ready to leave her home and had video footage of Johnathan fleeing the scene after the shooting took place.

However, the Botoga Police Department located the suspect, Johnathan,  just a few blocks away from the scene of the crime.

The police found a hand gun with serial number scratched off while scoping the area for evidence. Johnathan was initially out on bail for an attempted murder charge and has now been charged with charged with murder, possession of a weapon, and obstruction of justice.

It’s still unclear why Johnathan shot and killed his 26-year-old sister Naomi, this is still very unfortunate. The news has spread across social media, garnering lots of reactions from netizens.

“How you share a womb with someone then unalive them,” someone commented. “The hatred in men hearts for women is sick. His own blood how could you take the life of a person you were raised to protect. Rest her soul,” another person wrote.
