Jamie Foxx Details What Happened During His Health Scare

Jamie Foxx had fans scared when he was hospitalized back in April of 2023, after he reportedly suffered a “medical complication” while filming the Netflix action comedy “Back in Action” in Atlanta.

The next day, the actor’s daughter Corinne Foxx, shared a statement on her Instagram Story regarding the situation.

“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” she said. “We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

He woke up that same month and not much information was given about the cause of his health scare. This led to multiple conspiracy theories, including COVID-19 vaccine complications claims and allegations that the awaken man is a clone.

Just in, the actor and comedian, has now offered more details about the mysterious illness that had him hospitalized. The 56-year-old told a group of restaurant patrons in Phoenix, Arizona, that the problem was as a result of the Advil he took for a headache.

“Look, April 11 last year, bad headache, asked my boy for an Advil. I was gone for 20 days. I don’t remember anything,” Jamie said in a video making rounds online. “I’m in Atlanta, they told me… my sister and my daughter took me to the first doctor. They gave me a cortisone shot.”

“The next doctor said, ‘There’s something going on up there. I won’t say it on camera. But it was,” the Oscar winner recalled, pointing to his head.

The 33 seconds clip has since gone viral, garnering mixed reactions from folks online. “Good to see him healthy and can talk about it in the open , seems like he recovering well good for JAMIE FOXX,” someone commented.
